BOWLS AT OTAKI RAILWAY
Dominion Special Service. OTAKI. February 15. Several fours, including a number from Wellington, participated in the bowling tournament at Otaki Kailway at the weekend. The weather was fine and enjoyable games resulted. The winners were the Otaki four —Mcxted. Nicolson, Cahill. Grey (s.), who won all their games. Ruch, Stone and Donnelly won three each, Lawrie, Barrow, Baker and Munroe two each, Symonds, Hill and Rolfe one each, and Forde none. For the Mexted Cup. played at Porirua on Saturday, the home team beat Otaki Railway (challengers) by 9b points to 73. Seven fours from the Otaki club will visit I’etone Central on Sunday. In a cup match at Otaki on Saturday —the first for the Hyarns trophy—the home team defeated Paraparaumu by 113 points to 98. Otaki won two games., Paraparaumu two, and one was drawn.
