Only one person in Australia had a taxable income of more than £50,000 in 1940-41, according to the report of the Taxation Commissioner, says a message frem Canberra. Niue Australians had taxable incomes between £lO,OOO and £50,000. People with taxable incomes of more than £4OO totalled 55.849, and 583,874 had incomes under £4OO,
