CRIPPLES’ BENEFACTOR
Evidence of the continued interest of its greatest benefactor in the work ot the New Zealand Crippled Children Society is contained in a letter recently received by the society from Lord Nutfield. It reads:-— . , “The war has now been dragging on for so long that there is a growing tendency for the memory of one's peace-time interests to become rather shadowy. I can assure you. however, that in no way applies to my interest in cripples in all parts of the world, which may be regarded as evergreen. I was therefore 'particularly pleased to hear from you of the extent to which their weltare continues to be fostered in, New Zealand. “It is gratifying, indeed, to know that people so active as Sir Michael Myers, Sir Janies Grose, Sir Donald McGavin, Mr John Hott and yourself are still able to 'find time to interest yourselves so successfully in the furtherance of the trust, nnd it is no less pleasing to be able to be satisfied that the New Zealand Crippled Children Society continues to co-operate so helpfully and so valuably.
