As a recruiting ground for the senior body the Wellington Junior Chamber of Commerce has amply proved Its value since its founding. Members of the Junior Chamber are for the most part young business men whose activities are not simply confined to questions relating to their calling, but to a study also of the general welfare of their community, especially in regard to its amenities, progress, and advancement. In this sphere they are doing much active and valuable spade-work befitting them for useful additions to the senior body later on. The Junior Chamber has a strong and zealous membership, and has been frequently and worthily identified with community activities associated with some public objective. As one noteworthy example, in the Dig-for-Vietory campaign and the Wellington display opened during the week its members have taken a prominent and helpful part, throwing their energies into the effort with commendable zeal and excellent results.
