CRIPPLING GERMAN FIGHTER ARM
Raid Results Assessed (Received February 10, 11.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, February 10. The War Department announced that the-Eighth Air Force up to November had destroyed 43 per cent, of Germany’s capacity to produce fighter planes. During 1943 it destroyed 3357 enemy planes, probably; destroyed 843 and damaged 1596. The total American bomber losses were 1037, or under 4 per cent.
