FACTORY EMPLOYEE’S LONG SERVICE

Recently, the directors and factory staff of Hallenstein Bros., Ltd,, Dunedin, met to say farewell to Mr. A. Jlelndoe, who has been iu charge of the examination and dispatch section of the factory and' is retiring after 59 years’ service. Mr. F. M. Halsted, on behalf of the directors, congratulated Mr. Mcliuloc on what must be a record of service with one company in New Zealand and presented him with a cheque. In replying Mr. Jlelndoe gave some reminiscences of his early days in the Dunedin factory, and mentioned that the grandmothers of some Of the present had worked with him.
