ITALY’S GOLD SENT TO GERMANY
(Received February 9, 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, February 9. Italy’s remaining gold reserves were sent to Germany from Milan last night, says the British United Press correspondent ou the Italian frontier. The gold was carried in a heavily-guarded tram consisting of. 14 cars, fascist militiamen helped German soldiers to store the bullion and gold coin into barrels weighing 136 tons, which were transported to the station in 40 lorries,
