Tim Hon. Mr. Justice Finlay arrived in Wellington from Auckland yesterday.
The Hon. Mr. Justice O’Regan, Wellington, judge of the Compensation Court, is visiting Auckland. Mr. A. E. Bell, who Jias been postmaster at Rangiora for the past three years, has been promoted to the position of postmaster at Levin. 'The Very Rev. T. 11. Roseveare was elected moderator of the Auckland Presbytery on Tuesday night for 12 months. Mr. J. D. Willis, who has been on mllary servieeshrdlu mh rdlu infirdui military service for some time, latterly in connexion with Army legal work, has been demobilized and lias resumed practice of the law in Wellington. Mr. J. G. McKay, 0.8. E., a mcinhc of the staff of Nelson College for nearly 40 years and first assistant since 1922, will retire at tile end of May. He was acting-headmaster for a year on one occasion. His son is Wing Commander J. J. McKay, DJB£kJ>-F.O,
