WAIRARAPA SHOW
( CARTERTON, February 9. A special feature at-the night, show at Carterton on Tuesday next will be the spectacular marching by the Masterton interhouse girls. Entries for fruit, flowers and vegetables close on Saturday. The entries in the hack and pony classes are as numerous as at any show for many years past. Dairy cattle are well represented and there is strong competition iii Jerseys, Friesians and Milking Shorthorns. As usual, there will be very strong competition in the sheep sections., particularly in the natural condition Southdown and Romney marsh sections. Pig breeders have responded well, and there will be n flue exhibition, of pigs. The kennel club dog section is also a strong section, and many breeds of dogs from as far afield as Napier and other parts of the North Island will be on parade.
