Trade In Sydney The value of sales of the principal Sydney retail stores for October was 9.9 per cent, lower than for October, 1942. Stocks were valued at 9.1 per cent, less than a year earlier. Th© figures are given in the Monthly Summary of Business Statistics, issued by the Government Statistician, Mr. S. R. Carver. The total value of taxable and non-taxable goods sold at wholesale by registered wholesalers was £20.797.500 In October, compared with £22,065,300 In October, 1942.
