AWARD TO N.Z. NAVAL OFFICER

Lieutenant Tattersfield was born on (September 4, 1916, and entered the Royal Navy on December 18, 1940, as an ordinary seaman, and was promoted to commissioned rank in the Royal New Zealand Naval Volunteer Reserve on September 18, 1942.
