Vice-Regal. Government House, Wellington, January 12. His Excellency the Governor-General presided at a meeting of the Executive Council this morning. Later, at Government House, Ins Excellency received the Administrator of Western Samoa, Mr. A. C. Turnbull. Major E. W. F. Harrop, Second N.Z.E.F., has left for Fiji, where he has taken up the appointment of A.D.O. to the Governor, Sir Phillip Mitchell. The Rev. P. Wiltshire, who has been vicar of the Hunterville parish for several years, has been appointed vicar of Pliinincrton. Colonel A. M. Satterthwaite, N.Z.S.C., lately commandant of the Tactical School, Wanganui, has taken over command of the Dunedin military area from Colonel J. G. Jeffrey, M.C., who is returning to
