“I used to think that the fish one saw in tropical films were artificial,” writes a Dunedin soldier serving in the lacitic zone, “but I have seen them here in nil the colours of the rainbow. The bright blue ones are. perhaps, the most attractive. particularly against a white Conn background. Others which are not so attractive but. nevertheless very interesting are coloured brown, green and red. Hundreds of crayfis-h are to lie caught if one takes the trouble to make a net,” be adds.
