MEDICAL SERVICE SCHEME
CANBERRA, December 10. No agreement for a uniform medical service throughout Australia was reached by a conference between the Federal and State Ministers of Health, but it was decided that there should be a salaried or subsidized service for remote areas. A sub-committee has been appointed to consider proposals for free health centres Throughout the Commonwealth, free consultant and specialist services, free hospital and clinical attention.
