They wanted to have a decent sort of place ready for the boys of this war when they came home. It took them two years to get enough to buy the building, which indicates that the good people of Wellington sort of shipped somewhere. Now, the next job is to tear the inside out of the place, to partition, appoint, and furnish it so that it may be worthy of the men it will serve. All this costs money. Will the R.S.A. have to wait another two years? We think not. We believe that every Wellington citizen will want to contribute to the limit. This cause is right, in fact, Wellington can't hold its head as high as the other centres until the job is done. The official R.S.A. Premises Appeal starts tomorrow. Wellington can contribute the necessary £20,000 in two weeks if Wellington gets serious. It's a big responsibility. They've done their bit. Now do YOUR best. 88-90 LAMBTON QUAY.
