GERMAN COMMITTEE IN LONDON
To Help Defeat Nazism (Received September 24, 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, September 23. A Free German Committee, similar to that iu Moscow, will he formed in London tomorrow. The Moscow committee recently hppealed to all free Germans in Britain “to mobilize to help in the defeat of Nazism.”
. Prominent supporters of the proposed Gorman committee iu Britain include Dr. Karl Rawitz, former legal adviser to German trade unions, Professor Artur Lcibert, of Berlin University, Dr. August Weber, chairman of the Liberal German State Barty, Professor Isaac Meusel and Frau Adele Schreiber, former members of the Reichstag, and also three former Communist members of the Reichstag.
PARK SPEAKER’S FATE IN GERMANY LONDON, September 24. Berlin reports the execution of a 50-year-old German who tried to make defeatist speeches iu a public park.
