NEW ENEMY BOMB

British experts are understood to be experimenting in an effort to find a counter to a new type of enemy aerial bomb. This rocket bomb is of an armour-pierc-ing type. It is released from a considerable height and is apparently radio-con-trolled till it almost reaches its target. One theory is that in addition to a hick explosive, 'the bomb contains a propellent: charge which ignites when the bomb is launched. , , It is suggested that a bomb of this tvpc sank the Italian battleship Roma.
