IN these days the people elect their own government from among themeelves, but the day is fast approaching when tlio people 'will have no say in either electing tile government or in the government itselr. The Scriptures reveal that when Jesus Christ returns to the earth “with power and great glory.” lie will abedish every existing system of human government and will form a government ot His own (Luke 21-27, Acts 1:11, Acts 3:19-21, Rev. 19:13, Rev. lido, Dan. 2:44, Isa. 2:10-22, Acts 17:31). ThiJ Government will not consist of frail mortal men with limited capacity and wisdom. Christ’s Government will be comprised of powerful Immortals all embodiments ot' Divine wisdom and all possessing Almighty power to enforce it. These immortal members of Christ’s government will be Christ’s true followers throughout the Ages, i.e., those men and women who have believed Christ s teaching aud obeyed His commandments Matt. 4:23, Luke 8:1, Mark 16:16, Mark 10:15, John 35:14, Rev. 22-14, 2 Tim. 2 A”. 1 Cor. 6:2, Rev. 2:26-27, Rev. 5:9-10). Most ot these are now dead, “sleeping in the dust of the earth,” but that will be no obstacle to Jesus Christ, for He has revealed that He possesses the keys of the grave and of death, and when He returns to earth He will use these "keys” on behalf of His dead friends and liberate them from “the pit of corruption" (Rev. 1:18, Matt. 16:18, Dau. 12:2,1 Cor. 15:20-23,1 Thess. 4:16, Rev. 20:6). Having raised His friends from the dead Christ will immortalize them and thus will have associated witli Himself a host of powerful immortals (1 Cor. 15:5154, Phil. 3:20-21, Roms. 8:23, 1 John 3:2, Luke 20:35-36). This is the Government of the new age which will shortly be inaugurated by the Lord Jesus Christ—a government consisting ot Jesus Christ and His immortal friends. The centre of this government will be Jerusalem, but Christ will dispatch His representatives to all parts of the earth, where they will administer Divine laws and govern the people on Divine principles of justice, mercy and truth (Matt. 5:35, Isa. 24:23, .Tor. 3:17, Luke 19:17-19, Isa. 11:1-5). When the world is in the hands of this coming Divine Government every evil with which mankind is now afflicted will be abolished, and for the first time in the history of the human race all peoples of the earth ' will live happy, contented, peaceful and secure lives. (Numbs. 14:21, i’sa. 67:4, Psa. 72, Isa. 2:2-4, Isa. chap. 11, Isa. 33:6, Jcr. 23:5, Luke 2:14, Phil. 2:9-11). Reader, do not be misled by all these current schemes for a man-made new world order or Christian order.' Study the ■Scriptures and you will learn that all human attempts for a new world order are doomed to failure. There will be no new world order until there is Divine intervention in the affairs of the human race on the lines outlined in the foregoing.
