The first thing to do is to restore the supremacy of Parliament and the courts of law,” said Mr. Appleton. ‘''There should, be no political interference with the processes of justice, or Ministerial intrusion upon the prerogatives of the courts. 'Workers throughout the Dominion —not onlyin Wellington l Central—will consider on Saturday that the job I have done in 1943 by defeating Mr. Fraser is no less than that I bad the honour to do in 1935.”
