MR. NASH’S FIGURES UTTER NONSENSE
Speaking at Petone lust night, Mr. John Hogan said that in Air. Nash’s address at Petone on Tuesday he had spent a great deal of time giving figures and statements regarding the improvement in the position of the dairy farmers under his administration. “When Mr. Nash declared that the dairy farmers were very well off and very satisfied with their conditions, nil the dairy farmers of Petone cheered him to the echo.” he said. "Actually, your time was deliberately taken up listening to things yon know nothing about and could not criticize.’’ Air. Hogan then quoted the following telegram received by him from Air. A. E. Robinson, Auckland Provincial Secretary of the N.Z. Farmers’ Union: “Farmers’ income one-eighth of eight millions given by Nash. Many other figures 11 tter nonsense.”—Advt.
