AM I A TRUE CHRISTIAN? AM I FOLLOWING THE GOLDEN RULE—"DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD BE DONE BY"? A QUESTION which I and every Christian man and woman must answer next SaturY "Can I conscientiously give my support to anything which causes suffering to my fellow man?” The answer can be only "NO. Thi -- I" iw * a T (2) Misery or discomfort? (3) Hardship? (4) Increased crime? The answer is definitely "NO" to all. I. Medical evidence proves alcohol is not necessary to health, and under Prohibition it could be ordered by doctors if necessary for patients. 2 MISERY OR DISCOMFORT?—No! Those who now partake of alcoholic beverages could use non-alcoholic drinks made from the pure Juices from, grapes, oranges and other fruits for their beverages, or for toasting or entertaining triends. 3 HARDSHIP?No! If National Prohibition was carried, there is still plenty of urgent work and employment. 4. WOULD CRIME INCREASE?—No! Sly grog selling might.be a temporary difficulty, but there would be a decrease in other crimes. This is proved by statistics of our own No Licence districts. As a Christian, I cannot even vote State Control without directly aiding in. causing injury to my fellow man. Every vote for State Control counts against Prohibition and is an added vote for Continuance. Another questron-"How can I help?" The answer is-" Send a subscription to the N.Z. Alliance to help their advertising." The liquor trade has vast funds the N.Z.. •Alliance has only voluntary donations. DONI DELAY-TIME IS SHORT Post it to-day to the Secretary, N.Z. Alliance, C.P.O.
