MR. FRASER CONFIDENT

HUGE AUDIENCE EXPECTED AT TH UR SDAY’S M EETING.

“As leader of the Labour Party," said the Prime Minister, “I have the utmost confidence in the outcome of the general election.” Mr. Fraser's remarks were based on the enthusiasm of the capacity audiences which, despite the weather, met him everywhere on his Dominion lour. The climax of this tour is to be bis final Dominion meeting at. Hie Wellington Town Hall on Thursday night. In his speech, which will be broadcast, be will sum up Labour's policy and effectively reply to the critics. It is expected that there will be a filled Town Hall to hear not only the Mr. Fraser who is the Header of the Government but the Mr. Fraser who is the member for Wellington Central. Mr. Fraser is remembered for his work as chairman of the central bureau during the influenza epidemic, that followed the last war; he is appreciated for his sterling worth as the representative for the last 25 years for AVellington Central; he is respected for his qualities of statesmanship which have earned unstinted praise from the leaders of the Tnited Nations.
