BUSHMAN’S DEATH
Killed While Trying To Save Dog (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) WITANGARiEI, September 21. Believed to have 'been attempting to rescue his small dog from the path of a falling tree during timber-telling in the Morningside 'bush, Oiuahuta, Mr. llenij George Ogle, aged 49, single, bushnian. was caught underneath the tree aud crushed to death. The tragedy was discovered after the tree had been broken up. The bushman had the body of his dog clasped in his arms.
