TEACHERS’ SALARIES

PALAIERSTON N., September 20. The Prime Alinister, Air. Fraser, in an address tonight, referred to the salaries of secondary school teachers, stating that when increases were given to primary school teachers something similar was promised the secondary teachers. However, the war intervened, and they had been very patient for four years. Now the matter was to be brought before the Minister of Education and the Stabilization Board to sec if the proper adjustments could be made. “I am very keen to sec something done to give equivalent advantages to secondary school teachers ns have been given to the primary teachers, Mr. Fraser a d d cd.
