When everyday commodities —f0.,-d and clothing—increase in cost, due Io war conditions, nobody complains, but when these essential things of life keep mi increasing in price due to Government inefiiciency and mismanagement. the people object. Since 1935 the patient housewife has awaited the fulfilment of the Govern ment promises to bring down the cost-of-living, promises shouted throughout the Dominion in .1935 as election bait. Time marches on, and now, in 19-13, we find the women of New Zealand u]nin-arms as prices have risen tar beyond heights Dial can be attributed Io the war. Women’s organizations have been formed. In many districts deputations have waited on the Government. But the women of New Zealand have their day coming when they can express their feelings in the only way that will result, in fair play coming their way. Tim women know that the National Party will abolish the Inloriml Marketing Division.
