WAIPUKURAU’S HOTTEST DAY
WAIPUKURAU, December 3. Today was the hottest so far this sumnier, the temperature for :i considerable period being 82 degrees. The country is parched for want of rain, there not having been any worth mentioning for more than two months. The ground is too hard for ploughing.
