OBITUARY

Mr. P. F. Mulhane Mr. Percy F. Mulhane, a well-known and highly respected member of the com- •• niercial community in Wellington, has died at the age of 53 years. A sou of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. Mulhane, well known residents of Thorndon some years ago he was prominent in his younger day’s as an amateur boxer aud in Rugby football circles. ■ Except for one year spent in Dunedin, he was a resident of Wellington all his life Probably he was best known aw a principal and the travelling representative of Ellis and Manton, Ltd. Latteny he was in the employ of Phillips and Pike Ltd., working in association with Mr. M. G. C. McC’aul, a brother of the late Mr. Douglas McCaul, who was Mr, Mulhane’s most intimate business associate and friend for many years. Mr. Mulhane leaves a widow and one son, Private Owen B. Mulhane, of the Second Wellington Battalion; and two sisters, Mcsdames Smyth; and five brothers, Messrs. E„ E. L„ C., and A. N.
