WELLINGTON CLUB FOR THE BLIND

The annual report of the Wellington Social Club for the Blind records a further grant of £75 from the Department of Internal Affairs from the art union profits; £lO every six months from the trustees of the New Zealand Institute for the Blind, coupled with the lied Cross Society; £25 from the 'l'. G. Maearthy Trust Fund; and donations _ from the various branches of the Happiness Club. The librarian of the Wellington publie libraries wishes to inform all Braille readers that they have in their libraries 100 volumes of Braille from the New Zealand Institute for the Blind, and. in addiliou to these, they have magazines for the blind; also the National Institute for the Blind in London sends other modern books. The librarian is willing to arrange to send these books to any Wellington Braille reader. The executive of the club is also grateful to Mr. Tunley. of Queensland, for his generous gift of a Braille amt ftf New Zealand.
