Wilson, Dunedin, Ims returned to England after a year on the African west coast, serving as signals officer in a corvette accompanying convoys. “We only lost one ehip by torpedo in the whole year, though we convoyed hundreds,” he said. “We found the climate trying, and I am very glad to be back in England.
“I saw a lot of LieutenantCommander J. H. Scelye, Dunedin, Sub-Lieutenant It. Ross, Auckland, and Sub-Lieutenant G. Finch, Wellington, who is still serving in Africa,”
