RITCHIE TO REPORT TO WAR OFFICE
LONDON, July 17. Lieutenant-General N. M. Ritchie commander of the Eighth Army in Libya until the recent setback on that front, has arrived in London. The "Daily Express" says tie will maki , a full report to the War Office on recent | events in Libya and Egypt. Admiral Sir Charles Kennedy-Purvis, the British commander on the American and Wist Indies Station, lias been recalled to England for a new appointment. Rear-Admiral Allan Poland is acting as senior Brilish naval officer on I the station until be is relieved by Vice- | Admiral A. T. B. Ourteiss.
