TONIGHT’S BOXING
Henry Dunn v. Clarrie Rayner The professional contest of 12 rounds which the Wellington Boxing Association will stage at the Town Hall, Wellington, tonight between Henry Dunn (Wellington) and Clarrie Rayner (Marlborough) should provide a fast and scientific <licplay. Dunn has been building up his stamina since his ill-starred appearance against Billy Hamilton, the hard-hitting Australian, a few years baek, and the exhibition he gave against two amateurs at Petone a week ago showed that he has regalfiel all the speed he showed when at his best. Rayner has made himself an established favourite witli Wellington boxing followers by his rapid-action displays, and his willingness at all times to carry the fight to his opponent. Attractive preliminaries will be supplied in the form of a teams' match between overseas servicemen and local amateurs.
