River Board held on the 23rd day of June, 1942, it, was proposed under the provisions of ‘‘The Rivers Board Act 1998” and the Rating Act 1925, to make and levy a General Rate on the classification basis on the unimproved value of all rateable properties in - each respective class of the Board’s Classification List. SUCH RATE to be for the period commencing on the. Ist day of April 1942 and ending on the 31st day of March 1913 and to be due and payable in one sum on the sth day of August 1912 at the Office ot the Featherston County Council, Kitchener Street, Martinborough. AND the Board proposes to impose the said rate upon the several classes in the Board's Classification List of the District, in the following proportions: — 1. On the lands in Class "A” a rate of one and one-eiglitb pence in the £ on the unimproved value of the lands within such class. 2. On Hie lands in Class "B” a rate of one penny in the £ on the unimproved value' of the lands within such class. 3.
