U.S.A. WILL IGNORE VICHY PROTEST
LONDON, July 16.
The Vichy Government protested against the United States appointment of naval and military representatives with the Fighting French in London. A Washington message says that authoritative quarters reported that the United States will ignore the protest. Five Frenchmen were executed at Lille for the murder of a German soldier. says the Brussels radio. Two others were executed for Communist propaganda and the possession of firearms.
