PIANO RECITAL
A piano recital will be given in the Central Library hall, Wellington, tomorrow evening, bv the following pianists who will be presented by Miss Valerie Corliss: —Isa Anderson, Kathleen Anderson, Dorothy Ball Edward Burt. Helen Brethertou, Isobel Cuthbert, Jean Davie, Jean McLagett, Annette Dunbar Sloane, Kate Jourdain, winner of the Robert Parker memorial solo and the piano championship at the Wellington Competition Society s festival, IJ4J, Cohn Rouse, winner of the Nimmo Challenge Cup and pianoforte championship. 1940. and Wenda Amos, winner of the Madame de Mutiny Cup on its initial presentation in 1910.' Proceeds are to be donated to the Wellington patriotic fund.
The general monthly meeting of the New Zealand Merchant Service Guild will be held in the guild rooms al 10 ii.m. today.
