Mrs. A. J. Harrison, Blenheim, who has been staying in Christchurch, has arived at Wellington.
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Perry, Feilding, have left to spend a month’s holiday in Taupo.
Mrs. Hanlon, Wellington, who has been spending several months in Sydney, has returned to New Zealand and is the' guest of her daughter, Mrs. Philip Kedmayne, Feilding. Sister Manama Barker, who has been on the staff of the Palmerston North public hospital, has left to take up a position in Hawke’s Bay, and is staying with friends in Marton. Mrs. Hardy Gifford-Moore, Lower Hutt, spent the weekend in Palmerston North. Mrs. K. Bunny, Hawke’s Bay, has been visiting her sister, Mrs. L. Bale, Palmerston North. Mrs. H. A. Hannay is a Foxton visitor to Auckland. Miss Elaine Hall has returned to Palmerston North after visiting friends in Christchurch. Girls of the Manawatu Repertory Revue, recently entertained Miss Joyce Curruthers, one of their members, who is to be married next Saturday. Opportunity was also taken to extend good wishes to two members joining the W.A.A.F. at Ohakea, Miss Judith Copeland and Miss Mary Abraham.
