HOLIDAY PLANS FOR RICCARTON HORSES

Several Coming North

Dominion Special Service. CHRISTCHURCH, November 21. O. Enierson expects to go south for the holiday racing with Don’t Forget and Benevolent, and race at the Dunedin, Waikouaiti, and Oamaru meetings. The two-year-old Foxhaven may accompany them on the trip. These are the only horses he has in work at present. Blue Bouquet has been turned out, and Arabian Night is also spelling, but will resume training after the holidays. As Required has left the stable and is now being trained by R. Register. H. and A. Cutts probably will do their holiday racing in the North Island, the present intention being to patronize the Manawatu and Wairarapa meetings. The team may be made up of Wild Talk, Wild Fox, Court Dress, and a two-year-old.

A. McAulay is keeping Stabilize and Sir Gundi in useful work. They may go north in the holidays, starting _ off at Manawatu, with Marton or Wairarapa to follow.

The two-year-old filly Grilse has not been severely taxed since she won the Welcome Stakes. She will not be required to do much racing this season, but it is hoped to have her at Trentham in January for her next outing. Anchorage has been put into work by H. and A. Cutts, who will get him ready for autumn racing. He is a well-grown three-year-old brother to Good Passage, by Winning Hit from Fast Passage.

TRAINS TO FEILDING

In today’s issue will be found the Railways Department’s advertisement giving particulars of cheap fares and train arrangements for the Feilding races.

Returned South.

Because of a rearrangement in the steamer services at the weekend, L. J. Ellis and 0. T. Wilson, who were riding at Levin on Thursday, did not remain for today’s racing, but returned south last night.
