RAIDER REPORTED IN PACIFIC
American Navy’s Hunt YUGOSLAV FREIGHTER . SUNK (By Telegraph.—l’ress Assn.—Copyright.) (Received November 18, 7.15 p.m.) BALBOA. November 17. Rear-Admiral E. 11. Sadler. Commandant of the loth Naval District, announced that the Jugoslav freighter Olga Topic, 4375 tons, has been attacked, and is believed to have been sunk in the Pacific, probably by a raider. United Stales natal and air forces are reported to Ire searching for a German raider following the al tack on the Olga Topic. Rear-Admiral Sadler said: "If a raider is operating within GOO miles of the Panama Canal it will not operate there long.”
