12 CONVOY VESSELS CLAIMED SUNK
U-Boat Raid In Atlantic

NEW YORK, October 18.
The listening post of the National Broadcasting Corporation picked up over Berlin radio a communique from the High Command in which it was claimed that U-boats attacked a strongly-protected convoy from North America en route to England and sunk seven freighters and three tankers totalling 60,000 tons and also two destroyers.
