POOL RESOURCES FOR WAR
Soviet Ambassador’s Call NO ISOLATED FRONTS (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Received October 19, 8.20 p.m.) LONDON, October 18. “Whatever happens on the battlefield in the next few weeks, the fight against Hitlerite Germany will go on in Russia to the bitter end,” says the Russian Ambassador, M. Maisky, writing in the “Sunday Express.” “But we must cease to regard the struggle in the form of separate, isolated fronts. All the Russian and British military, political and economic resources should be pooled and shifted from one part of the front to another as the military situation requires. Only thus can we hope for a speedier and less exhausting victory.”
