DETERIORATED LAND
Select Committee To Investigate
A select committee of eight members, to consider the best means of bringing back into production or of developing and using deteriorated or marginal land was appointed by the House yesterday. The committee was authorized to sit during the recess, and is to report to the House within 28 days of the commencement of next session. The committee comprises Messrs Broadfoot, Goosman, Kidd, Roberts, Robertson, Tirikatene, Thorn and AViiliams.
