SERGEANT COURT MARTIALLED
(By Telegraph—L’ress Association ) AUCKLAND, October 17. Charged with conduct prejudicial lo good order and military discipline, Staff-Sergeant Alfred Oswald Duncan,N.Z.T.S., appeared before a courtmartial at Avondale military camp. It was alleged that in Auckland ou September 29 accused improperly used an Army vehicle and petrol for private purposes, and through being involved in an accident- caused damage to Hie vehicle amounting to about £35. When asked to plead accused said be admitted improper use of the vehicle and ixitrol, but denied causing damage. The court ruled that the plea to the whole charge was one of not guilty. The decision of the court will be promulgated.
