RELIGIOUS SERVICES. BIBLE TRUTH "YE MEN OF GALILEE, WHY STAND YE GAZING UP INTO HEAVEN? THIS SAME JESUS, WHICH IS TAKEN UP FROM YOU INTO HEAVEN, SHALL SO COME IN LIKE MANNER AS YE HAVE SEEN HIM GO INTO HEAVEN” (The, Angels to Christs disciples—Acts 1:11). Jesus Christ is coming again "in like manner'’ as He went an;ay. He went away literally, materiaiiy, and visibly ano so will He return. The whole tenor ot Bible revelation concerning the second coming of Christ necessitates His literal and personal return. Thus the Scrip-, tiires reveal: — (1) THAT when Christ conies "His feet , .-’bail stand in tnat day upon the Mount of Olives wmeh is before Jerusalem on the east...” (Zech. 14 :l-4). (2) THAT when Christ conies the Jews "shall look upon Me whom they have pierced” and will see "the wounds in His hands” aud “mourn for Him ns when one liiourneth for His on*/ son” (Zech. 12:9-14, Zech. 13:6, Matt. 23:37-39. Ezek. 37:21-28). (3) THAT when Christ comes “the Lord God will give unto Him the, throne of His Father David” in Jerusalem where Christ will personally reign “in power and great glory", as universal King (Luke 1:31-33, Ezek. 21:25-27 Zech. 1.16, Zech. 2:10-12, Isa. 24:23. Jer. 3:17, Acts 17:31, Phil, 2:9-11). , „ (4) THAT wheu Christ comes He ‘shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty Angela in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not' the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power” (2 Thess. 1:7-9, Isa. 26:20-21. Isa. 66:15-16, Jer. 20:30'J3, Mai. 4:1-3). Christ's personal return to earth which is now very imminent will affect every man, woman and child upon the earth. How will it affect you? Be warned in advance, and make yourself acquainted with what the Scriptures teach concerning this coming great, event. As a help to that end you should read the book — “CHRISTENDOM ASTRAY.” A copy will be sent free on application to “BIBLE TRUTH.” Box 71, Wellington.
