BILLIARDS AND SNOOKER
Lindrum At Y.M.C.A. Horace Lindrum, Australian snooker and billiards champion, played exhibition games before a large audience in the Y.M.C.A., Wellington, on Thursday. In a short preliminary billiards game Lindrum scored very freely against W. J. McMillan, Wellington provincial champion, Lindrum’s best break being 128. In various snooker games against. six opponents, Lindrum conceded 42 points start to each, winning four games and losing two, his best break being an excellent 68. Results in the Victory snooker tournament on Thursday evening were: Hayvice ISO, James 120, Johnson 133, Nesbitt 80.
