MEETING AUSTRALIA’S WAR COSTS
Inflation Policy Denied SYDNEY, September 9. The Prime Minister, Mr. Fadden, denied that the Government was contemplating infiation to meet war costs. War costs, he said, have to be met from Australia’s resources of men and materials and the Government’s plans are based on arn appropriate blending of taxation, loans ami credit expansion. That policy had not produced inflation in the past two years. The internal stability of the Australian pound would continue to be safeguarded adequately
