Dominion Special Service, FEATHERSTON, August 6. “The summer and autumn meetings passed off successfully, though with somewhat lesser profits,” states the annual report of the Wairarapa Racing Club, signed by the president, Mr. J. M . Card. Bxperience had shown that, to bo suecessful, the win and place betting system required larger fields than those to which Tauherenikiiu was accustomed. Gross totalizator returns for the year were £70.800, against £70,138 last year. After writing off £1064/14/- depreciation, a loss of £1587/13/9 was recorded.
