Though the final count is not completed, it is estimated that a total of nearly £9OOO from all sources was collected iu yesterday’s patriotic parade. The organizers of the seven groups engaged are unanimous in the opinion that the final figure will prove to be the biggest yet. The sale of mystery envelopes raised £3OOO and proceeds from the sale of art union tickets and from raffles are estimated to total another £3OOO. Money directly donated by the public is placed at between £2OOO and £3(100.
