For the year ended June 2<, 11,0i2 passengers flew in Union Airways planes, a total of nearly three million passenger-miies (2,960,625). All the 966 flights scheduled were flown and all but live were completed to schedule time, those live being eases where weather made delay or landing at an intermediate aerodrome wiser in the first and foremost interest of safety. Other figures for the year are: Freight carried, 25,9171 b.; mails carried, 77,7521 b.; hours flown, 2504; miles flown, 360,024.
