OBITUARY
Mr. P. McSkimming
A Duiiedin Press Association message reports that the death occurred last night fo Mr. Peter McSkinnning, a former M.P for the Clutha electorate. Mr. MeSkimniiug arrived in New Zealand from Scotland in 1878 and was educated in Otago. Later, sifter some years of ex]ierienee in brick ami pips: works, he. with bis father, took over the works of John Nelson, and they were developed in many directions. Mi - . McSkimming was a member and office-bearer of the Presbyterian Church. In commercial life lie bad been chairman of directors of st number of important companies.
