Rongotai College Old Boys

More than 360 old buys of the college were serving in the armed forces, said .Mr. F. M. Kenner, patron of the Rongotai College. Old Boys' Association, in his address at the eleventh annual meeting of the association held recently. Old boys had already distinguished themselves in the war ami two. Pilot Officer L. R. Jacobsen and Flying Officer C. A. Powuall, had been the recipients of the Distinguished Flying Cross for meritorious conduct. Overseas ballots were bound to take toll of older members, and it was the responsibility of the younger members to keep the association alive. To assist the membership of the association lie suggested that all old boys be encouraged to join the Seatoun and Rongotai College Old Boys Rugby Football Club; that an old boys’ hockey club be formed: and that a news bulletin be issued every three months, thus keeping old boys informed of the association’s activities.
