Escape In England
LONDON, May 10.
Two of live German airmen who escaped last night from an internment camp in north-west England were recaptured near a small town in the moorland country 15 miles-.from the camp after being at liberty for barely 12 hours. 'The hunt for the other three Germans is still going on. Police, military, special constabulary, and members of the Home Guard are making a systematic search over hundreds ot square miles of country. Cars are being examined, and no liide-out is being overlooked.
It. is believed that the fugitives hid tn goods wagons on a siding near the camp and afterward split into two parties. It is understood they made their escape through a thick fence of barbed wire.
